A healthy and vibrant dish flavoured with our Chana Masala spice blend.
1 Can of chickpeas
1 Dried Chilli
A quarter can of chopped tomatoes
Half an onion
1 Teaspoon of Cumin Powder
1 Teaspoon of Ginger Paste
1 Tablespoon of our Chana Masala Blend
2 Tablespoons of finely chopped coriander
2 Tablespoons of oil
Salt to taste
Add the oil, the dried chill and a teaspoon of cumin powder to a medium sauce pan. Once the oil is sizzling add the onions, salt, turmeric and ginger paste and cook until the onion is tender.
Blend the quarter can of chopped tomatoes, then add the blended tomatoes and allow the mixture cook for a few minutes. Once simmering mix in the chickpeas. Then add one cup of water and 1 tablespoon of our Channa Masala blend. Allow a further five minutes cooking time.
Finally take off the heat and garnish with the coriander.
